Your new vet sounds great! I had a VERY bad experience when we got our cat.. We took him to the closest vet and the woman we got him from didnt notice her cat was in heat so she accidently got pregnant.. So We got my cat who we named sunshine.. We thought it was a girl.. Thats what the lady told us and my mom knew her so it wasn't a sketchy place or anything well.. We get to the vet and he confirms its a girl AFTER checking.. Well we got bad feeling from the vet so we took him to another vet that my moms friend had recommended.. Well the doctor goes.. I think you made a mistake it says you have a female cat.. My mom was like no its a girl.. Anyways.. A VET couldn't even tell it was a male cat! So we are happy with our new vet and have been going to them for nine years now.. It makes a huge difference having a great vet!
