I in no way meant to offend you and really had no clue how long you'd been breeding. I actually, for some reason, thought this was your first litter and was making an honest suggestion that many are unaware of... I am sorry if it was misundstood.
You will find that many experienced, respected breeders disagree with placing them that young. Likewise, not sure I would be letting children and all my friends handle week old pups, but again, that's just ME. However, there is a big difference between 'house training' and 'socializing'--not sure I understand that part...?

I think that when 'socializing' was mentioned, it was in reference to social skills that pups obtain from interacting with their littermates...something that human contact is no substituion for.
If your experience has proven otherwise to you, then that is great!
