I think it is because just last week I started having her go potty outside in the backyard a few times a day instead of always in her pad in the house. The vet said it is because she is so short, that when she squats, her little pee pee touches the grass and she got a bacteria. Any advice out there???
that's ridiculous. if that were the case then all female yorkie puppies would get UTIs. don't let that discourage you from taking her outside to pee. lots of dogs and puppies get UTIs every now and then. it just happens.
