Not that my 2 cents is worth anything, but I'm glad to hear you all agree with giving the bitch a second try. The owner of a bitch that my Petey bred with was told by her vet to spay her because she had a c-section. I told her not to. I told her to wait a year and give it another try. I'm not sure I even agreed with the 1st c-section, but I'm not a vet. It was her 1st litter and after 1 hour of labor (not even hard labor) the vet had her come in and he performed a section. She did have a 5 oz baby and then 3 more 4oz babies, but she was a good size (weight 6+lbs) and decent bone structure. I would have given it a bit longer.
This vet was all about the money, as he charged her a fortune and then had her bring them back in every 2 weeks for check ups??
