My girl goes outside, she doesn't use weewee pads at all. She doesn't have "accidents" but will go to the bathroom in the house, where she knows you will walk if she is upset at you for some reason. I guess it is the only way she knows to let us know she is upset.
She usually whines at our feet, or runs in circles and then to the door where we let her out when she knows she has our attention... she then runs into her kennel and does her duty, and runs back in.
If she poos she gets a treat, and then she runs to the cabinet that has the treats for her (all natural treats by canidae) sometimes if she thinks we are not watching she will run for a treat when she pees ... but we are always watching
she usually goes all night without waking us up, except now with this litter of pups, but that is because she is drinking and eating more.
