thank you for your warm welcome and responses. i will give them a try, however i am becoming increasingly concerned because the infected bump has gotten larger, the size of a nail head if not two, and it appears to be gorged with yellow gook. my husband feels we need to soak it and draw out the salve any suggestions on how I would do this and what I should use--I know on people you use products like epson salt or peroxide but I do not know what is safe for a dog. please understand I am still learning how to use this site this is my third attempt to respond hopefully I have it right this time--will add pictures of my honey at a later date as I need my children's help in performing this task.
