my mom passed in 2002 and she had enough life insurance to cover half of her funeral well me and my husband paid the other half of her funeral and her burial plot and her last month in nursing home came to $3,870.17 so its paid off in 2004 then my dad gets in a car accident no life insurance he passes away but it was both his fault and the others so we all 3 gets $10,000 a piece plus debts paid off his bills so i ask my sisters for their half on our moms funeral but they say no can do.now that the estate is done he has $2,993 left in checking account so i ask them again to repay me for moms funeral my one sister agreed to give her half to me but my other sister says no way,is there anything i can do. the lawyer said he dont know what i can do any one out there know anything about something like this.
