OMG! Archie does the same thing -- gets as close to me as he can and licks my pajamas! I think that IS a contented pooch. Mine also licks me a lot -- he's not a kisser at all -- but will find a place on my arm or my hands and give it a good tongue bath. I think they like the salt on your skin, but I also like to think it's a "Love you, Mommy" thing!
