My suggestion is to find an experienced Yorkie breeder in your area that can mentor you and help you out. You may be able to get a recommendation from your vet if you don't know one in the area. Maybe the breeder you got your girl from...? Sadly, there is no way you would ever be able to learn a fraction of all you need to know by getting opinions and info off the internet.
You have come to a very good place for information....welcome to YT! |
I agree with you breeding is not a sport it is a passion and many many thing can go wrong do you know the things that can go wrong compared to the thing that go right you need to really do your home work and ask your self how much do you love your little girl and weigh you risk
with breeding and if you are looking to breed to sell just look all over the internet everybody is breeding this little guys and the market is stiffled
with yorkies everywhere you look and just think how many of these babies will end up in a rescue or worse and the health problems that are croping up is beyond words just think of the health problems that will be out there for the yorkie in another 5 years it will be very sad for all the yorkie lovers
many of these babies will be put to sleep because someone just wanted to breed without having everything checked out before they breed to make sure they are breeding only the healthest of the breed instead of mass production because i want to have puppies i think it will be fun or i can make money well i am here to tell ya neither is true it is alot of work
and if done right there is no money to be made if your luck you can maybe break even
