Their teeth can continue to fall out until 6 months. At that point, it's time to spay/neuter anyway, and the extra baby teeth can be removed at the same time when they're under anesthesia for the neuter. It seems fairly common to do this-both my dogs had a couple teeth pulled when they were spayed-it tends to be the baby canines that don't fall out on their own. Be sure to ask your vet ahead of time how they charge for pulling teeth-some charge by the tooth, some charge depending on which teeth need to be pulled, and some just charge a flat fee.

Be sure to give your puppy a variety of toys to chew on-maybe those teeth will just fall out on their own. Try an old sock, a rubber ball, a plush toy, and something hard/plastic like a nylabone. To ease the pain, I used a couple ice cubes in the toe of a sock. I tied off the sock just above the ice cubes, and gave it to my puppies to chew on.
