Well, my first instinct is: Don't walk her...carry her everywhere! LOL But, they do need exercise, so that won't work Definitely be super aware of your surroundings when out and about these days. There is always the chance that 'someone' somewhere has mishandled another dog and created an accident waiting to happen. I am just so grateful that none of you were injured in this confrontation!

An unruly pitbull is no small matter. I was actually held captive by one years ago. I had not been afraid of any dogs (love 'em all!) until this experience. I had gone out to my laundry room - outside my kitchen - and when I came out to go back inside, there was a huge Pitbull just standing there. I tried talking to him - he didn't move. I tried the stare-down. I took two steps toward my back door, and he took two steps forward. He never growled, but I knew that if I moved suddenly, he had me! We did this dance for about 15minutes (seemed like an hour!), when mother instinct took over and I just got . See, my daughter (multi-challenged) was in the house alone. So, I just said: "OK, buddy, if you're going to attack, get it over with, because I don't have time for this foolishness!", and backed into the house! LOL *whew!* was I shaking! Later, the owners had to have this beautiful guy put down because he attacked their child .
