Does it seem like Rebel just gets overstimulated when it's time to go outside? If that's the case, Coby (7 mos old) did the same thing to Reggie (10 yrs old). So I tried to 1) downplay going outside to Coby - I stopped making it the "Disneyworld" experience that I had been. I made it more like going to the living room.
And 2) When I first starting trying to break the habit, I'd let Coby have just a few minutes (3-5) outside alone before bringing Reggie out. It seemed to get rid of a little of that energy.
