Sounds like it may be time to sit him down and lay it all down on the table. Tell him what you want and what you need from him. Tell him your concerns and allow him time to talk also. If it winds up that you and him decide not to stay together, then its for the best.
I met my husband when I was 19 and we have been together for almost 5 years now and have our 4th wedding ann. in november. The biggest thing for us that makes it work is that he is 32 and im 24. He was settled when we met and knew what he wanted and how to make sure I knew how he felt. To this day our friends pick on us cause we still act like newlyweds...even after 2 kids!! lol.. basically what im trying to say is, you will find the right one. dont settle for anything less than what you know you deserve. even though you have a lot of time and emotions invested in this relationship, it doesnt sound too healthy for you.
