You are absolutely right!
My Lady has been diabetic for almost six years, but I refused to feed her Hills w/d. One of the main ingredients is ground up peanut hulls! Why would I want to feed a dog who already has a compromised immune system such a poor quality food?
Hills pumps a lot of money into vet schools through scholarships, seminars, etc. They also do seminars, etc. for vets. I'm sure that is why you generally see vets carrying Hills prescription diets rather than Waltham, Purina or Eukanuba.
