It's such a great food! If it were me, I'd probably only switch it if 1) his weight wasn't holding, 2) cost was an issue, 3) he was having issues w/ high protein.
Although, you could just switch within the line to Innova EVO - not quite as high protein, but entirely grainless - like you are currently feeding.
