Not that I've ever noticed. I just checked the side effects and sleep issues isn't one of them. There's a lot of different things that can cause sleep issues. (I've gone through that whole course too )

I've been diagnosed with seasonal affected disorder. So I take it from September-ish to March or April, then go off it for Spring and Summer. I can totally tell a difference when I'm not taking it and should be and when I am taking it. I take 150 mg a day. I'm supposed to take it morning and evening but meh, I never remember the morning and the 150 mg works just fine for me.
