In my opinion I would not put a deposit on a puppy that was that tiny and that young. I would wait until the puppy has had it's first vet visit so you know whether it is even healthy or not. Also, you dont even know what this puppy is going to look like. It you are paying that kind of money, I would wait until you get a better idea of what the puppy is going to look like, it's health and its temprement to make sure it is the right puppy for you. Dont let the breeder try to make you rush into any decisions. It you dont get that puppy, there are many more to choose from and it wasnt meant to be. I dont think I would trust a breeder that took a deposit on a puppy that weighs not even 2 oz. It is too iffy. Take your time and make the decision that feels right. If there are red flags and you have to ask if you are doing the right thing and you are unsure, then it might not be the right decision after all.
