Baby food isn't bad for dogs. In fact. it's the old tried and true standby for a sick dog who won't eat. It's not nutritionally complete, though, so dogs so can't eat it on a regular basis.
Do read the labels on the baby food. Avoid the ones that contain onion powder. Onions are toxic to dogs and can cause Heinz body anemia.
