My boy Valentino does this, especially when he drinks water way too fast. It is called reverse sneezing and he just stands there and snorts. I have learned that you actually have to hold his little nose shut so he begins breathing properly again. It isn't a big deal, just an issue of not snorting air and just relaxing.
