My DH has cousins who work in Los Alamos. One works at the labs, the other for the city. They along with an uncle live in White Rock just outside Los Alamos. Because of the secluded location housing is much more up there, but they moved from LA area and say it is WAY cheaper than CA. about 1000 sf home, older(probably 1970's), no garage is around 200K. But it is GORGEOUS country!! |
