I do home prepare Ruby's food and use the recipes and feeding guidlines in Dr. Pitcairn's book. If you are going to home prepare meals, I would suggest you get a copy of his book. I use his basic recipes and will use different meats, veggies, etc. to give Ruby some variety.

Cheerios don't have to be cooked. Ruby doesn't eat carrots without them being mixed in with her food, so I do cook and finely chop them.
