New Baby for sale I 'm a breeder, and I'm against selling a puppy that is as young as these are. I don't think a good breeder would put their puppies up for sale untill they are at least 6 weeks old. Too much can happen between 1 week and 6 weeks of age, especially to the smalles of the litter. It's like putting Meat on a platter.
I like to weigh my babies each week, take time to let them be a baby. You can't really tell a thing about what they will look like any way. If I would place a deposit on the smallest, it would probably die, Momma could lay on it, or it may turn out the biggest of the litter. Just isn't a good policy. Besides there is such a danger of the smallest one not being the healthy one, then somone could get up set, and disappointed. |
