How long has he been on the Innova? I too tried this brand on Roxy and TJ and I just felt it was too rich for their systems. TJ also has IBD - but with his poops, he had this monstrous noise that echoed from his little body and then his poops were pure mucus with such a distinct smell - yuck, I could just puke thinking about that smell.
TJ blood work was normal, except his Folate Levels were sky high, they told me that could mean that TJ has an overgrowth of bacteria somewhere in his intestines, but wouldn't know for sure without a biopsy. I decided to treat with a special diet and this medication called Tylan. It worked for TJ but I know it doesn't work for them all.
I am wondering if the diarrhea is returning b/c they kept him on the antib's???
I am thinking maybe he needs some Probiotics
