My dear friends got a yorkie . . . which incidently they named Izzy too . . . and one day after they got her their niece stepped on her and broke three of her toes. She wore a cast for four weeks and limped for two weeks after the cast was taken off. My friend was terribly worried but the doctor basically said the same thing the people here are saying. She had to build up her muscles again. It has been two weeks since the cast came off and she is walking beautifully. Gve Izzy a little more time and encourage her to walk on it and before you know it . . . she will be running around like a normal little yorkie puppy again.
