Okay, I took these off of AKC.org.
 
The first two images are of the Silky Terrier while the last two are of the Yorkshire Terrier. 
With them side by side like this (one being a drawing and the other being an actual photo of a current dog in competition) do you see the differences? 
The structure is very different if you meet them in person. Even their movement is slightly different. The silky is not a square dog, whereas a Yorkie is/should be. The silky is noticeably a bigger dog also...still a small dog of course though. The biggest difference, besides in the coat and structure is in the head itself. 
I'm reading what I've typed and I don't think I sound clear. I hope I do though! ha ha....*yawn*, okay my daughter is asleep now and I should follow suit. More tomorrow.
