I am a nurse, and I hate this mentality, that THEIR time is so much more important than YOUR time. If you have ever waited 10 minutes or more for this doctor, then I would definitely find a new doc and I would tell the doc the reason you are leaving is that the message you got was that HER time was much more valuable than YOUR time.

Also, not notifying you of the move, thus CAUSING you to be late, is unacceptable. If I had taken off work for the appointment that wasn't, I would be so PISSED!!!

I despise that heirarchical mentality - because I am a doctor (or whomever) that I or my time is so much more important than you or your time.

I once heard of someone (a lawyer, I think) who waited for their doc appointment for 30 minutes and then sent the doc a bill for 30 minutes of time. I've felt like doing that myself sometimes. Of course, I know that docs get behind sometimes and I don't mind the occasional wait, but some practices routinely run 30 minutes or more behind. That really ticks me off!
