We are beginning our search for the perfect homes for them. Lil' T's tail still curls up on his back like a chow. It is so darn cute. His ears were up for a long time but have decided to flop down again so out will come the tape. Apollo's tail sticks straight up in the air. These are the first two that didn't get their tails docked due to mother-in-law in the hospital and my work schedule.......couldn't get into the vet's office to have them done. Now that I see what they can look like with a natural tail, I'm actually considering keeping tails in the future. I see that yorkie show standards are allowing full tails but a judge has the choice to disqualify it from competition. But then I really don't care about show competition, that's not my bag and not enough time to devote to it. Any thoughts on the subject from you? |
Linda,
I have decided that with my extra tinies, if they are struggling at all in the beginning, I am not docking tails either. I lost my little girl, who seemed to be doing fairly well, not good, but fairly well before the tails. Then after I had them done, she struggled so much and didnt make it. So they will just have long tails. I think they look awesome!
