I have not researched this yet but my vet says UTI's & crystals are caused by too much protein in the food. My Jazzie was put on antibiotics, it seemed to have helped. Shortly after she was back to going frequently and going in several spots within minutes of going. I found a product called cranberry relief by Naturvet, I put half of the recommended scoop in her drinking water and the frequency has stopped. She can go 5-6 hours without tinkling, she is 5 months old.
However if anyone else has had a different experience with this product, please let me know.
