I ordered that from Foster/Smith and when it came it was the same
plastic as the regular nylabone. I know it's for the aggressive chewers,
which is why I ordered it, however, I would not give it to my dog because
of the fragments that come off when chewed. Package states these fragments
are the size of a grain of rice and SHOULD PASS.
Well when they don't the settle in the lower intestines and tear up the
lining of the stomach and lower intestines. They are like little slivers of
glass. Giving it to a much larger
dog I could see it being ok but a little dog you just might be asking
for trouble.
