I agree, I think how long they can go varies from one to the next. My Cooper can hold it for around 8 hours, he can go through the entire night with no problems. Carley, on the other hand, has a max of about 5 hours and she never sleeps through all night, she "chirps" at us at least once a night to take her out. Mine are both a year and a half old and been potty trained for a long time...that is just the maximum time for each of them. They are also around the same size, so I don't think size always makes a difference either.
