Mine go outside. Loki is totally trained, Sammy tries her best but if you don't take her out first thing in the morning she won't wait for you. And by first thing I mean when they get up, not when I get up! HA! But they are good about dancing on my head to tell me. I let them out, feed them, and they go right back to sleep (we all do on the weekends.) The rest of the day she is fine and goes outside no problem.
True, they don't like the rain. You just can't give in. I go stand on the porch and let them go in the mulch near the porch if they want. Loki puts 2 feet on the sidewalk, 1 in the grass and lifts the other one. So he only puts 1 foot in wet grass. They figure it out if you don't give in!
Snow is no biggie, we just clear a spot in the yard. They like the snow. |
