I have a 10 month old little boy that had the same problem.... I was going to wait until he was at least 1 yr old to see if they would drop but he started marking ( raising his leg and marking his territory ) he had been housebroken for 6 months until this...
We go Thurs to get his stiches out... (10 days ) the only problem he had was the second day he would not pee..... he pooped but refused to pee... I tried everything... finally about 1:00 I took him to the Emergency Vet and they catherized him..... they said he would not go because he was sore... ( he was taking pain meds ) ..... they drained his bladder ( which was alot for him ) he only weighs 3.5 lbs... the next day I watched him real close and finally around 3:00 Pm he started peeing on his own.... and he has been fine since then....
The vet told me if they havn't dropped or if he couldn't even locate them they probably weren't going to after 6 or 7 months..... even on the tiny ones...
I am soooooooooooo glad that is over . |
