Animal Smiley 049 Lots & lots of biting!

Ok, these past couple of days my sweet little Deegan has tunred into a biting maniac! He used to be content chewing on his toys 'n stuff, but now he has moved onto us! Our ankles, our feet, our hands and fingers. Anything he can sink his teeth into.

I'm hoping that this is just a phase because he's teething, but how should I go about correcting him? I try to say "no" in a stern voice, but that doesn't work, so then I might hold his muzzle for a second and say "no" again, but sometimes that doesn't work either so then I am forced to give him a time out by putting him down or in his pen.

What do you think of my approach, and do you have any other suggestions?
