For a pet quality dog from a show breeder who was champion sired i payed 300$. For a show quality dog from that same litter it would have cost me anywhere from 3000$ and up. Look at the difference in cost. This is what bugs me about this issue. If we are talking about a pet why charge so much? there is no equality and fairness in charging someone the same price for a pet and as a show dog.

Yet somehow this system is creating a breed of healthy dogs that the poor cannot afford unless the forgo a house payment or two. Then people want to be hipocritical and sometimes say if you cant afford one dont buy one. Then when poor people or working class people end up buying from a pet store after their prices drop and the dog has been sitting there for months, you also want to gripe.

If I ever breed I will make sure i tell people why i charge what i charge for the pup. when it comes to a life i think they have a right to know and it will also give them peace of mind when paying whatever price. I also wont turn down a poor family or working class family that can offer the same love and support because they don't have 2000.00 to throw away, but in all other circumstances could afford food and basic care for the pup.

I mean 2000$ is like 1520lbs of dog food to me

Oh man! I just better not reply to that!
