I went to the doctor today, not due to the fact I might be pregnant, but something else. I found a knot on the back of my head a month ago and it's starting to cause some discomfort. Also, I have been losing some of my hair for quite some time now, probably since the beginning of summer, and wanted to let my doctor know. The doctor felt the knot and said it was a swollen lymph node on the back of my head. They swear I have a thyroid problem due to my weight gain and loss of hair so I have to get blood work. I guess with the lymph node as long as it doesn't get bigger it's nothing to worry about. He told me not to mess with it. I'm still concerned though, but I don't wanna let the family know. I'm not worried about the thyroid, just the knot. Anyone else experience this?
