It looks like smoking is the biggest killer.....a smoker also loses 12 years from their life...
Cigarettes contain 4000 chemicals, 200 of them are considered poisonous and 60 are considered carcinogenic...
171,900 new cases of lung cancer yearly
157,200 will die
Other cancers connected to cig.'s: mouth, esophageal , stomach, kidney, cervix, bladder, pancreas,....
Your smoking causes about 53,000 deaths annually from heart disease and lung cancer in non-smokers....
That's quite a lot of deaths just so some of us can enforce their "rights" to smoke in an enclosed area....If you can contain the smoke to stay in just your personal space their would be no problem, but since smoke knows no boundaries and I am unable to hold my breath during our entire dinner, I for one hope to see all public smoking banned, for the welfare of the workers, children, and all the non-smoking patrons... |
you go girl...that is exactly right!! if you want to smoke...that is fine! but i don't want to...so it's not right that others force me to!
