I can give you two hints that I gave another prospective dog groomer here on YT.

First, don't charge too much (here in Jersey I've paid between $45-$65). And two, listen to what the owner wants! LOL Remember what happened to Baby?

Also, are you sure you don't need some sort of license in NY? Just make sure! And if you lived closer, I'd trust you in a heartbeat!!
