I give Babybear, Bud and Bubba heart guard plus every other month. I was told by a vet that it is actually recommend every 45 days. But it is easier for people to remember every 30 days. Giving it every month is over dosing. I asked because I had heard this before from another pet owner. I just wanted to make sure it was right. My vet has a pomerianin(sp?) and he gives him a heart guard plus every other month. I figured he must know best.
The only one I have had problems with is bubba he is a big boy(not yorkie well think his is a 90 pound yorkie.lol) he just got hook worms and is being treated for it. He likes to eat everything he comes acrossed outside. He is only outside for 5 minutes at a time. All three furbabies are house (couch potatoes) babies.
Some vets will tell you yes every 30 days others might not and tell you the truth about the product and over dosing of it. I would be curious to know how many vets say yes every 45 days or 30 days.
