Well I will say that Max our 6 month old Yorkie sleeps with us but not the whole night. He begins sleeping in his bed which I place next to our bed by my side that is until my husband wakes up at 4 a.m. to go to work. From there on he sleeps with me until its my turn to go to work. He has been sleeping in our room since we got him as he is trained to use training pads. When he would not hold his business all night he would wake up still half asleep go to the pad do his business and come back. Although some nights half way through I bring him to bed with us and he sleeps on our pillows.
But I guess its what makes you feel better. At first we tried to have him sleep in the kitchen but we didn't like it. He might of slept in there for the first month we had him and after that he has slept in our room.
