Well at least you didn't gain but from what my nutrionist tells me and all the books I have read -you should not go below 1200 calories period. Maybe you are not eating enough and should spread out those 1200 calories into 6 small meals (I do 3 main meals at 300 calories and 3 100 calorie snacks to equal the 1200). Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack. That way you are keeping your metabolism up.

Don't give up - you might lose more the second weigh-in.

I do that. Fruit, or fat free yogart at 3:00 and then a low fat snack
around eight in the evening. I also walk approx 2mi 2-3 times a week
on my lunch hr and Bud gets walked 20mins 4x day. It's just not
easy to get the weight off when you get over 50 and I'm well over
that It will come off but it takes me longer than most for whatever
reason. Most people could not survive on what I eat daily. It's all
good food but not much of it.
