If it's any consolation my late Nikki had her tail docked, it wasn't short but she chose to wag her whole behind when she was happy. We thought it was so cute, it was just her way of expressing happiness. Maybe your precious (she is a doll) will also do the same. It doesn't matter if it's the tail or the behind that
wags as along as she is demonstrating happiness. Hope this helps.
