I wouldn't worry about it. Been around cats and kittens all my life and a lot of them do that, it's where the momma picks them up, if you ever notice a momma and her kittens, whenever she picks them up they go limp. Once she gets use to the way you pick her up she will gradually stop doing it - usually. I had one once that always did that. Momma cats move their kittens a lot more than dogs do, always looking for a better place to nest and the kittens get use to being hauled around. Apparently, she's just not use to being picked up my humans yet! Good luck with your kitty!
