 Former Rottie Owner
I think its definitely all about temperment and who was there first. Yesterday I took Georgia, my new yorkie who is 3lbs, to visit my sister and her dog a labrador retreiver who outways her buy about 60 lbs. And after 15 min of curiousity her could care less she was there.
Now my rottie, who just passed away, she would not have had any other dog in the house period. and she was a teddy bear but she was spoiled rotten and very attached to me.
I think as long as the yorkie was the first dog and has established her rank. Bringin in a puppy, the puppy will learn its place too. |
