I have a morkie Peanut, and I have been shaving him down for years, He has the maltese hair, extra thick, but once you do cut the hair on the face, well you have to continue all the time, if I had it to do over again, I would of trained him with a topknot..but his almost 11 and he hates that now...good Luck
