The leaves are turning here. Next weekend should be the peak. I love to drive across the state to the Mississippi and drive along the river to see the color. It's so vibrant! Then I like to drive down to Southern Illinois in a week or so and catch the color along the bluffs near the Mississippi. I love fall. It's my favorite time of year.  |
Well we did not go two reasons though...#1 My eye. I tweezed my brows and one of the places I pulled a hair out of got infected or irritated. Now my right eye is swollen almost shut. I didn't want to drive like that. #2 The weather is nasty. we had a little rain but the wind is crazy. If the wind keeps it up there wont be any leaves left to change.....
