to give you an example how toxic flea shampoos are...A sad but true story
My brothers friend has a yorkiepoo found her under the deck outside after giving birth to 4 lively little pups, she was flea ridden and muddy (in the mid of a heat wave in the summer). He took her in gave her a flea bath with hartz 3-1 shampoo..thinking it was the right thing to do, then took the pups in and placed them all in a box....within hours the pups died...the teats had flea shampoo residue and the pups injested it.
