 Destiny is a mommy!!
Friday evening Destiny had her puppies. It was a big shock as she was only on day 58 so I wasn't expecting it so soon but I was prepared. She showed no signs of pre labor. She was eating normal that day and acting normal, her temperature was normal. No digging, no panting. She was on my lap and all the sudden she started to whine. So I put her in her box. I checked her temperature which had gone down a little. I though alright I guess I can expect puppies within 24 hours. Five minutes later she went into hard contractions and out popped the first puppy. I have never seen anything so fast!!
So on friday at 6:30 pm she had the first pup.
Then she didn't have the second pup until about 9:35 and the third pup followed at 9:40.
She did great. It went real fast and was a smooth and easy delivery for her.
So we have 3 puppies.
2 girls and a boy.
First pup was a girl at 4 oz.
Second pup was another girl at 3 oz.
Last pup was a boy also at 3 oz.
All the puppies are doing great, they are healthy, very lively and nursing well.
Destiny is being a great mommy leaving them only long enough to eat and potty.
The bigger girl looks so big compared to the other two. She is just a chubby little thing, lol.
We go in monday to get the tails and dewclaws done.
