To replace the cat, I ended up getting an even smaller dog, a 3 pound Maltese, who the lady swore would get at least as big as Lick. The maltese, Pinot, instantly bonded with my fiance and only tolerates me. Funny, people always ask me why I don't have a big dog. I just answer that I don't like picking up human sized poop. No one really follows up after that.
