My little Bailey has the longest legs i've ever seen AND he has floppy ears too. I can assure you he is a purebred because I have the papers. When I first brought Bailey home, he was the same way (ran away from me), didn't want to be a lap dog, a HUGE ball of energy. He just need time, attention and some training. He's the best little companion you could ever wish for now. I'm sure your little one can tell your frustrations and that's causing him to run away from you more and act out more (dirty in the house). He might have been on his way to being house broken but in a new surrounding he may need a little bit of review because i'm sure he's got a lot of emotions going on.
