I don't mean to be insensitive at all I just think you should probably put it into perspective about what the pup looks like! I recently saw a pup at a fair that was supposed to be a full bred yorkie with super tall skinny ears and a skinny nose- not the cutest yorkie in the world but he was sweet and his owner loved him! Mutts usually make the best pets anyway! |

But if she wanted a yorkie, then I completely understand being dissapointed if it isn't actually even a yorkie. And I know when I buy a pet, I want it to be pretty. I guess the look of the yorkie (and Himalayan cats) have always been one of the main reasons I chose those breeds for me. I loved the way they looked and then after researching I realized I loved their personalities too. I would be dissapointed if I thought my dog turned out to be unattractive. I've said several times to friends that if Lacy was shaved, she'd be ugly and I believe she would be. (Not saying yorkies with short hair are ugly - just that Lacy would look ugly with short hair) The longer her hair gets the prettier I think she is. Now, I already LOVE her and wouldn't love her any less if she got shaved but I definitely wouldn't think she was so pretty anymore. But when buying a new puppy, I'd definitely pick a pretty one over one I thought was unattractive. I know it's shallow but I've come to terms that that part of me is shallow and that's okay with me.
